Digital Dental X-Rays
Dental X-rays may be recommended when additional information is needed to assess areas that cannot be fully examined visually. At Nova Dental Care, we use digital dental X-ray equipment to assist with diagnosis and treatment planning.
Depending on your clinical needs, we may take individual dental X-rays or a panoramic X-ray (OPG). A panoramic X-ray provides a broad view of the teeth, upper and lower jaws, and surrounding structures, including the jaw joints and parts of the sinus region.
These images can help identify or investigate conditions such as impacted teeth, dental infections, bone changes and other abnormalities that may require further assessment.
Digital X-ray images are generally available shortly after being taken, allowing our dentists to review the findings and discuss them with you during your appointment.
